This part of the Zrii success recipe should be obvious, but then many people look for shortcuts here. You can’t study stocks for a few days and know enough to consistently beat the market. You can’t pick up a pen for the first time and write a best-selling novel. Do your homework.

Success Advice

It might seem like a great idea to ask for advice from those who are successful. It might even work - if you are lucky. The problem is that many successful people are too busy being successful to really study and understand how they got that way. I watched a 100-year-old man explain that smoking a big cigar every day was one of the secrets of his longevity. It would be nice to know why he has lived so long, but we won’t necessarily learn by asking him, will we?
Listen to what successful people say. They have countless valuable lessons to teach you. Just be careful in picking the true lessons out of the opinions, idealizations and ego reports.

Emulation Of Success

This is the most important ingredient in this success recipe. Rather than doing what successful people say, do what they do. This is how you can really learn success. Naturally you have to look closely and apply a little brainpower to see what they are really doing that is causing their success.

A real estate investor who made a lot more money than I told me he didn’t believe in setting goals. However, as I watched him and listened to him, I realized that he knew just where he expected to be with his projects in six months. This was goal-setting. He just called the process something else.

Read between the lines when hearing advice. Listen for insight into how the person thinks, and how she approaches her challenges. The advice of a successful basketball player may be just to practice more, but suppose he casually mentions “I saw that going in,” after a great shot. Perhaps it’s time to start visualizing your shots going in.

Sometimes you can’t quite get what is causing a person’s success. When I first tried to exchange links with other websites, the owners didn’t respond to my emails. Then I found a simple email a successful internet marketer used to get links. It sounded so silly to me that I wanted to change it, but I tried it anyhow. It worked - repeatedly.

It’s more important to do the right things than to understand why they are the right things. To understand is great, but at first, it is often best to just copy many of the actions, attitudes and approaches of someone who is succeeding. Model success, even before you understand it.

Self Awareness And Motivation

Of course, there are the very real parts of your personality that have to be considered. I know a car salesman who gets away with hugging his new customers. They seem to respond positively. If I tried that, I would be acting out of character, and the uncomfortable situation wouldn’t be likely to help sales.

We are all different. You have to adapt what you learn to your own personality. However, you have to do this without using your own uniqueness as an excuse for not doing what is necessary. Excuses can be very subtle. This is where self awareness becomes so important.

We are also all motivated differently. A successful man who is motivated by the desire to escape poverty and have security is not operating the same way as one who gets rich chasing after dreams of boats and expensive homes. One of them will be more useful to you, depending on how you are motivated. This is just another example of where self awareness comes into the recipe. As I grew in my business, I needed to look at the bigger picture of creating a residual income by building an organization and mentoring my downline to achieve the results they were seeking.

Fortunately in my company, the marketing plan was easy to learn and follow and provided it’s own goals to strive for. When a person reaches a particular milestone, there is another step, another goal inviting you to achieve it, with a hefty financial bonus waiting for you when you succeed. Your residual income only rises when you are helping others simultaneously reach their goals and achieve success.

Your next major goal is always to reach the next level in the marketing plan. You will inevitably reach the next level when you are helping others reach their next level! This includes reading on a daily basis and listening to motivational audio programs on success, personal growth, leadership, goal setting and time management.

There used to be a stigma attached to MLM. These days, one of the smartest moves you can make is to start a MLM home business. There is minimal investment, outstanding proven products, training and materials, you set your own schedule, there is real potential to quickly earn hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, and you get all the benefits of owning a business without all of the overhead of creating it all yourself.

So work with your mentor, keep your eye on the marketing plan and set goals that will enrich your life and the lives of others.

I am applying these management tips to my Zrii business right now. You see, there was a time when I tended to do all the “busy work” in the morning, while putting off the important things. I might have gotten to the important stuff later in the afternoon, or maybe not. Now, I get up and I write an article, because this is what is most important for my business right now. I do it whether I feel like it or not.

The result is that I often fell like I have gotten a good days work in before noon. I fact, I find that the business does well even if I take afternoons off so my wife and I can go for a drive in the mountains - as long as I do the important things first. There also doesn’t seem to be nearly as much “busy work” that needs to be done once the important things are out of the way.

Spend some time to decide which things on your “to do” list are most important. If they are longer projects, break them into smaller pieces, and attack one of those smaller pieces as your first work of the day every day. Important things first - not a new idea, but still a valuable time management tip.

Zrii Business Planning

Spend just the right amount of time planning. This is a tough one. How do you know if you are spending too much time planning, and so wasting time? How do you know if you are not doing enough planning, and so working inefficiently? I have a partial solution to this problem.

First of all, most of us fall into one of two categories. There are those of us, like myself, that like to plan. I can spend the day making lists, looking at calendars, and dreaming up new strategies to try in the business. Then there are those who don’t like to plan. They are always forgetting to do things that should be on their “to do” lists, because they don’t have such a list.

Both types have their time management problems, but here is my simple solution: If you are of the first type, assume you are spending too much time planning, and start working more directly. If you are of the second type, you almost certainly can be more productive in less time if you plan more. Sit down in the evening and make a plan for tomorrow.

Start Your Day Early

As one who didn’t use to get up early, I can tell you that I am amazed at the difference it makes. It may seem that if you sleep the same number of hours, it shouldn’t matter when you sleep. It does matter (at least it has for me). Is it the quietness of the morning that allows for more and better work? Is it that there are more and more distractions as the day progresses?

I don’t know. I just know that now that I get up early, there seems to be so much time to do things. If you aren’t an early riser, why not try it for a week or two? Try the other two time management tips above as well. Time managed well means more time for whatever you want to do. Also by getting up early you can take advantage of a full day to explode your Zrii business.

Wether you are a member with the Zrii business or any other opportunity out there one of the keys to success is called persistance.  The dictionary describes persistence as: the act of persisting; the state or quality of being persistent; Continuance of an effect after the cause is removed: persistence of vision. In other words, you keep trying even when it seems as if there is no reason to keep trying. For me as a business owner with Zrii , especially a home business owner, the ability to keep trying is an absolute must. This might be in the form of emails, phone calls, sales calls, commercials, ads, etc.

Many times the most important aspect of any of these actions is to be persistent. For example, if you’re making phone calls to prospects, it can’t just be done for one day and then never done again. There has to be a plan in place to make “X” number of calls a day, or week. One and done won’t accomplish anything. This is where persistence comes in to play. The biggest problem that I find with people being persistent is their own mind. We all play mental games with ourselves and “talk” ourselves out of doing things, especially when it comes to things such as making phone calls and/or sales calls. The problem is that accomplishing these tasks is integral to being successful as a small/home business owner. So not talking yourself out of doing the necessary work is an absolute must. A great article that I read over the weekend says that we must ‘detach from the outcome’ in our lives and what we are trying to accomplish. If we truly can detach from the outcome, it makes being persistent that much easier. For example, if you’re detached from the outcome, who cares if one or twenty people say ‘NO’ to whatever your doing? You won’t, because you’re not concerned about the results, just the work. And the work is what you should be concerned with. The outcome will take care of itself. Using this advice and detaching from outcome will no doubt help you to be more persistent. And being more persistent will more than likely make you more successful. Never forget what Denis Waitley said, “Success is almost totally dependent upon drive and persistence. The extra energy required to make another effort or try another approach is the secret of winning.”

Secure your retirement. This is first on my checklist for a reason. If you’re not confident that you can take care of yourself when your working years are over, you’ll never feel safe. Figure out how much you’ll need (and no, Social Security will not be enough), make a saving and investing plan and get going. Your goal should be to ensure an adequate cash flow from your investment portfolio for as long as you live.

Insure your health, your life and your stuff. An accident or illness can be just a bump in the road when you have insurance, but a financial disaster if you don’t. A nest egg worth hundreds of thousands or even millions can be wiped out in a heartbeat without the proper insurance. Schedule a review with you insurance agent today to make sure you have the coverage you really need.

Educate your kids. It no secret that quality education doesn’t come cheap. Give your kids a boost up–and help them ensure their own financial security–by beginning to save and invest for their educations as early as possible.

Make yourself recession-proof. Ask yourself where you’d be in six months if you lost your job today. If you don’t like the answer, you’re not recession-proof. Pay down your debt and build up a cash emergency fund so that losing your job would not constitute an emergency.

Provide for your legacy. Some people want to die broke, but most of us want to pass on something to help provide for the financial security of the next generation. If you don’t have an up-to-date will that accurately describes where you’d like your money to go, see a lawyer.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Being rich is less about having a certain amount of money and more about having a sense of security that can come only from managing your finances with care and wisdom.

Passive income with the Zrii business is an easy way to make your money work for you, however there is a simple method to follow in order to be successful. Knowing which opportunities to choose and how to diversify one’s portfolio could determine your success rate.

First off I’d like to make it known that passive income opportunities do work and there are legitimate programs available and the Zrii business is not an exception. The first thing I look for when deciding to place money with one of these programs is a working phone number that will lead to a point of reference before giving my hard earned money to anyone specific program. Contacting the admin or someone that has already been involved with a passive income program gives the program credibility and can help answer any important questions one may have.

Secondly, ask yourself how long the program has been established. This is a really tough call because all programs have to start somewhere. Watch the program for a while to make sure other members are getting paid. On the other hand like I said, all programs start somewhere and with some due diligence one can spot these programs within the first week of their launch.

Stay away from programs claiming to make you thousands per day, having been in this industry myself for  years and earning a full-time income, I’ve seen many programs offering this kind of claims, but in some cases it is possible, however the majority of these programs do not last very long. Take a more conservative approach and look for programs offering an established reputation with full training and support.

The Zrii business and many passive income opportunities diversify themselves into various financial markets. Typically these markets range anywhere from stocks, commodities, health, real estate, nutrition, cosmetics, ventured capital,etc. The truth is a well diversified fund can run for many years and pay all of its members a substantial amount of money.

Lastly, do not put all of your eggs into one basket. Pick 1 or 2 strong programs and go with them. Choosing more than 2  programs could hurt your portfolio over the long run. With proper due diligence and money management it is possible to slowly build a golden goose that will continue to pay for many years to come.
